I can guarantee that you will have a dedicated, licensed health care professional who is devoted and will stop at nothing to see you healed and fully restored. My goal for you is that you would be completely whole in your mind, body, and spirit and that there would be nothing broken and nothing missing. Full restoration of your health is my greatest desire for you and this desire is the motivating force behind me working tirelessly on your case so that you would be able to fix your health problems.

I evaluate more than just 1 system in your body.  I analyze the following systems in your body:
Endocrine System
Are your hormones balanced?
Are you hypothyroid?
Do you have elevated insulin? 
Digestive system
Do you have intestinal permeability? Do you produce enough stomach acid, digestive enzymes, etc?
Immune System
Do you have inflammation in your body?
Do you have 1 or more autoimmune diseases (Hashimoto's, Grave's, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Celiac Disease, Lupus, Endometrosis, etc.) 
Detoxification System
Do you have toxic overload?
HPA Axis Dysregulation 
Do you have adrenal fatigue or adrenal burnout?
The problem with going to multiple providers is that each one is only looking at 1 piece of your puzzle of heath. But all of the parts of our body and health are connected. So you must have a comphrensive, detailed assesment of the multiple systems in your body in order to heal.  And I provide evaluation of multiple bodily systems for my clients.

Why does it cost to consult with you? I've never had to pay to talk to a pharmacist before?

I am not your average, corner-store pharmacist.  I have post-graduate training in Functional Medicine, Thyroid, and the Hormone System that give me additional knowledge and resources to be able to help very sick people recover their health.  From customized compounded hormone therapies to reversing thyroid disease, I am a multifaceted pharmacist who is qualified to handle complex health cases.

Why can't I use my health insurance to pay for your services?

Accepted Answer

You can pay for my services and products (vitamins, supplements, and compounded therapies) with CareCredit, a FSA, HSA, or a Benny card. 
 
There are a few additional answers to this question:
Health insurance does not cover a pharmacist as a provider.
Health insurance usually does not cover Functional Medicine Practitioners.  Because Functional Medicine seeks to find the root cause of disease, a standard appointment time slot with a patient exceeds the time allotment for insurance reimbursement. 
I meet with my clients for a minimum of 60 minutes and insurance will not cover an office visit of this length.  Insurance will usually only cover for you to meet with a provider for about 5-15 minutes.
As you have already experienced, this is not enough time to find and fix the root cause of your health issues. You need an in-depth, comprehensive look into your health in order to heal and that is what I am able to provide by not accepting insurance.

I want to talk to you first to see if you can help me. How can I talk to you 1-on-1 so that I can explain to you what I'm going through?

Due to my volume of clients, I am currently only available to speak with through a paid consultation.  Once a patient invests in my help, I spend much of my time working on her case to help her to heal.  Working on my patient cases takes up all of my time.

After I pay for the initial consultation, will I have to pay for anything else to get better? If so, how much will that cost?"

Accepted Answer

Yes, after the initial consultation there will be additional costs that you will have in order to restore your health.  Some of the additional costs will include every 60 minute follow-up appointment.  Other additional costs will be the charges for vitamins/supplements, compounded therapies, or lab tests.
The additional costs after the initial consultation differ per client.  Every Healing Plan is completely customized to the client's case.  
Investing in your health is one of the best decisions that you can make.  You wouldn't put regular, unleaded gas in a Mercedes Benz... Surely, your health is more important than a car.

I do not work with any 1 particular doctor in any other state. 
 
I work with my client's current doctor in order to get the right tests ordered and to receive an approval on my customized hormone recommendations. The approval of my recommendations is what allows the hormone therapy to be dispensed as a prescription to the client.

How soon will I start feeling better after I start working with you?

Accepted Answer

Because most people don't suddenly get really sick just over night, it is an unrealistic expectation to assume that all of your health problems will go away overnight.  It took time, probably years, for you to get to this point of sickness. So allow yourself time to reverse the environmental triggers that have created your sickness.
 
With that said, most of my clients report feeling an improvement in symptoms as early as 2 weeks of implementing my Customized Healing Plan.

What if my doctor won't order the lab tests and the therapies that you request?

Accepted Answer

There are multiple options available:
I can request the lab tests from your doctor. I will provide your doctor with numerous reasons for the tests to be ordered.
If your current doctor is not in agreement with the course of action that you would like to take regarding YOUR health, then I highly recommend that you find a doctor who is willing to partner with you in helping you to heal.
You can order the tests from a direct-to-consumer lab. These labs do not take insurance BUT you do not need a doctor's order for the lab tests.

I already know what's wrong with me. Why can't you just give me a plan without me paying to meet with you?

I customize each of my client's Healing Plan based on the following information:
Her past medical history (surgeries, menstrual history, pregnancies, etc.)
Current symptoms 
Liver Assessment
Adrenal Assessment
Gut Health Assessment
Lab Tests
Current Medications
Current Vitamins/Supplements
Exercise frequency
Nutrient requirements 
It would be impossible to create a customized, detailed Healing Plan for you without obtaining all of this information first.  If you want to get well and actually turn off what's causing your poor health, then you should invest in a practitioner who will look at the whole of you and not just one part of you.

Do you have a payment plan option?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we do have payment plan options for CareCredit cardholders.  For CareCredit cardholders, there are options for no interest if paid in full within 6, 12, 18, or 24 Months depending on the amount purchased.  Also, for CareCredit cardholders, we offer payment plans of 36 and 48 month repayment periods and these plans do have interest and these plans do have a minimum purchase price.
 
If you are interested in applying for a CareCredit card, please call our office at 918-505-9650 and a representative can help you.
 
For individuals who do not have CareCredit but are needing to make payments, I also recommend that you utilize a zero interest credit card. There are some zero interest credit cards that you can make payments for 12 to 21 months, all without paying interest.

Can you prescribe my medications and thyroid hormones for me?

No. I am a licensed pharmacist in the State of Oklahoma and pharmacists do not have presribing authority in the United States.
 
However, I will make recommendations to your doctor for any of the following, if it applies to your case:
Compounded Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT)
Compounded or Commercial Thyroid Hormones
Compounded Medications that will accelerate your healing
Medication adjustment or discontinuation of your current prescription drugs.
*Please Note: Customized Hormone Recommendations will require hormone testing and an additional consultation fee.

How can you help me if I live in another city, state, or country?"

Accepted Answer

I perform a majority of my consultations over the phone and via Skype (video conferencing).  I have a HIPAA compliant email address that you can send your private patient information to. Also, you can fax your information to me.  I will contact your doctor for items that I'm requesting via phone and fax.

After the initial consultation, how often will I have to meet with you?"

It depends on the severity of your case on how much of my care that you need. 
 
Clients receive the best health outcomes when they continue to follow-up with me over a 3 month period of time after their Root Cause Analysis Case Review.  During these follow-up appointments, I analyze lab results, customize their hormone doses, recommend hormone dose adjustments, I tweek their supplement protocols, and I answer their nutritional questions.

After the initial consultation, can I call or email you whenever I have questions?"

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can email or text message our business phone if you have a quick question that can be answered in just a few short sentences.  However, if you have questions that require an in-depth response, these answers will be provided during your follow-up appointments.
 
Majority of my clients benefit greatly by continuing to have follow-up appointments with me because most people require ongoing care and attention.  By working with me on a continual basis by booking follow-up appointments, I will be available to answer your questions, analyze your lab results, monitor your symptoms, adjust your hormone doses, contact your doctor for additional lab tests and hormone prescription approval, and adjust your supplement regimen(s).
 
Typically, the healing journey is not a straight line. It zigs and zags and loops around. So if you want an ongoing guide to help you, someone that understands the path of healing and can teach you and your doctor how to improve your health, then booking follow-up appointments is the best option. And it has proven to produce the best health outcomes in my client population.

As a pharmacist, I don't replace your doctor(s).  I am an addition to your health care team and I act as a liasion between you and your doctor in order to accerelate your healing and reduce your symptoms.  We call this an interdisciplinary approach to health care.
